Intro to CS Students,
Below is a list of software you should download and install on your home machine if possible. This will enable you to work on your software at home, gain access to your notes, and participate in online study sessions. You should download and install this software as soon as possible. Don’t wait till the last minute! If you have any issues and/or concerns, please let me know.
Java SE Development Kit (Required for BlueJ)
Go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html, click on the “Download JDK” button, and follow the installation instructions listed on the website.
BlueJ
Go to http://www.bluej.org/download/download.html, download the appropriate installable based on your machine (Mac or PC), and follow the installation instructions listed on the website.
DyKnow (PC Only, but will run on VirtualPC for Mac)
Go to http://www.dyknow.com/download/, download the appropriate installable based on your machine (32 or 64 bit…if you are not sure, the website has a link that explains how to check your machine type. Most machines are 32 bit.) During the installation, set the "DyKnow Server Address" to "dyknow://vision.dyknow.com/parktudor.org".
Finally, here is the information you need to access our textbook online:

Go to http://edugen.wiley.com/edugen/class/cls191842/ and register/logon with the WileyPLUS credentials you received with your textbook purchase through eCampus.
